Rob’s story is an interesting one. The New England rock scene in the seventies gave rise to The Joneses and Mad Angel, two bands that made a name for themselves opening for J. Geils and Aerosmith - two other iconic bands launched during this magnificent era for music. The Joneses released two singles: Baby and Hey Girl, while Mad Angel released Sweet Sleep Sleep Sweet, and Can't Run Can’t Hide. As the drummer for The Joneses and Mad Angel, Rob became a driving force in their success. Both band’s musical influence was felt throughout New England, and is still felt to this day ... as witnessed by the 1,500 fans that came out to their 2012 reunion concert at The Hanover Theater in Worcester, Massachusetts.
